he really ought to be inmit and Montague hasn’t
the excuse that Roy hasn't published a book for
a long time or that there has been a falling off
in quality. I think that Roy at his best is very
very good.

My old friend in Belfast,Denis Ireland,has
sent me a few photocopies of reviews: PUNCH
has given him a long and stunningly favourable
notice written by that fire-eater Claud
Cockburn. Nice too for the relatively new
Belfast firm,Blackstaff Press.
