Mercy darling, I can't remember if you will have gone south yet but this is just to let you know that, what with one thing and another (mainly work and teeth) we shall have to call off our Irish visit this time. It's sickening but – as they say – just one of those things. In haste, love, Louis. P.S. I'm supposed to come over, solo I fear, for that Bloomsday do in the Martello Tower on June 16th.
