I hope you got my letter-card. here
is the script of "The flats". As I told you
this is probably the play David Marcus had in
mind. Certainly It is one of my plays which
is central to ’the troubles': it could be
argued, however, that "The Assassin" is equally
so. "The Assassin” may be better for your
purposes as it includes a large number of
students in the cast. So, if part; of the
purpose of producing the play is to encourage
participation of students as actors "The Assassin"
might well be the play - in which case I will
forward a copy of it, if you let me knew.
In the meantime I should be glad to
have your comments on "The Flats". If you
want any further information i‘ll be glad to
let you have it for instance, you may like
to see the press comment, etc.
