7th Aug. 1964.

Dear Leslie:

Just to tell you that, as promised, I got in
touch with the A.B.S: first through Sam Denton, and
secondly, through Ronny Sim, who as you know is on the
National Executive of the A.B.S. Both, I understand,
have been in touch with you; and I gather from them
that you will have to decide yourself whether or not
the A.B.S. is to take up your case. As you know your
colleagues have been very perturbed by it and so I hope
that you will see that justice is done.

As I'd only a brief opportunity of saying"good-bye"
to you, may I add that I've appreciated very much the
opportunity of working with you, and wish you all the
best of good luck in what happens in the future.

Yours sincerely,

(JOHN BOYD)
